僕の英語 : A plan Prof. Yabe proposes towards a magnesium-energy driven society is following. A plant is constructed on the shore to desalinate water and refine magunesium. Big plastic lenses laid out on the roof concentrate light to heat enough to smelt the metal. The system converts water from the sea into water available for agriculture, at the same time it extracts magunesium from the sea water in which bulk of bittern dissolved.
上がった(+気づいた)問題点 :
- A plan は、以前からの文脈なので、The Plan に。
- towardsはヘン。 for a magunesium-energy driven society
- on the shore, theを取って、shoreより coastsの方が適当。on shoreには上陸という意味があるので。
- followingではなく。 as followsに。 主語部分に The following と持ってくるのも良い。
- レンズが並んでるところは、An array of lenses という表現がはまる
- light は sun-lightに。
- heatに目的語がない。 to generate enought heatとかに。
- smelt は冶金関連。refineとのが妥当。ちなみに冶金(wikipedia)
- water は sea waterに。
- 同一単語の繰り返し(water)の上手く工夫する。
- dissolveは受け身で使う。なので、in whch を取って、a large amount of bittern is dissolved
- at the same timeは、 , and at the same timeに。
- bulkも、今回のは適当でないかも。
模範例:
